She began her career with the Department as an Agent in the Oakland District Office. She has served in a supervisory and management capacity in the Oakland District Office, the Headquarters Professional Standards Unit, and the newly formed Headquarters Licensing Division, prior to her promotion to Division Chief in November 2020. Taylor managed several of the Department’s statewide training programs, including the Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD) Program and the Responsible Beverage Service Program, as well as assumed oversight of the Headquarters Licensing Unit. During her tenure she streamlined the process for mass license transfers and revisions to the P-12 designation process. While in the role of Supervising Agent in Charge of the Licensing Division’s Special Projects Unit, Taylor was the product owner for the Department’s Business Modernization (Biz Mod) effort to design online licensing functions and was instrumental in the creation of the Licensing Division’s first onboarding program for new employees.
Taylor is committed to maintaining a positive culture within the Department and cooperative working relationships with our stakeholders to ensure a positive licensing experience. Prior to beginning her career with ABC, Taylor obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach.
