ABC Suspends the License of Restaurant El Carbonero in Palmdale
25 Day suspension is posted at the business where there were multiple ABC violations
Palmdale – On Thursday, February 21, 2019 Agents of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) posted a 25 day Notice of Suspension at Restaurant El Carbonero located at 232-234 Palmdale Boulevard in Palmdale. Alcohol sales are prohibited at the location for the next 25 days because the business exceeded its license privileges by possessing and selling distilled spirits without the proper license and refilling bottles of distilled spirits.
The illegal activity at El Carbonero involved violations of Sections 23355, 25177 and 25607 of the California Business and Professions Code. The licensees agreed to a 25 day suspension after ABC filed an accusation against the premises.
ABC protects communities through education and by administering prevention and enforcement programs designed to increase compliance with California’s alcoholic beverage laws. ABC encourages licensees to sign up for ABC’s Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD) training free of charge. Licensees and their employees can now take the training online. They can also sign up for training in person in a classroom setting. Visit the LEAD Registration page on ABC’s website for details.
Visit the Enforcement page on ABC’s website to learn more about ABC enforcement and prevention programs that can help increase public safety.
ABC is a department of the Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency.
