ABC Posts Revocation at Los Dos Amigos in Compton

Crack Down on Multiple Solicitations of Alcoholic Beverages

Compton – On October 3, 2019, The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) posted a revocation notice at an ABC licensed premises operating under the name of Los Dos Amigos, located at 4605 East Alondra Boulevard in the City of Compton.  The business is prohibited from selling, serving and allowing consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Undercover Agents visited the location numerous times during an investigation and discovered violations that involved illegal drink solicitations. Such practices can contribute to the over-service of alcohol and possibly other violations of law.

Additionally, undercover agents observed several other criminal and administrative violations, including illegal gambling, violations of Rule 143 of the California Code of Regulations, retail to retail violations, after hours sales of alcohol, free goods, and not maintaining books or records.  These violations resulted in a 37-count accusation filed against the licensee’s Type 40 On-Sale Beer License.

ABC encourages licensees to sign up for ABC’s Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD) training free of charge. Licensees and their employees can now take the training online at our LEAD registration page. They can also sign up for training in person in a classroom setting.
