ABC Posts 30-Day Suspension at Mundo’s Mexican Grill in Thousand Palms

Agents purchased narcotics at the business on three separate occasions

(Thousand Palms) – Agents of the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) posted a Notice of Suspension at an ABC licensed premises operating under the name of Mundo’s Mexican Grill located at 72390 Ramon Road in Thousand Palms. The license is suspended for 30 days with a revocation stayed for 180 days to allow for a license transfer, the suspension will remain in place until the transfer.

The suspension was a result of a narcotics investigation in which ABC agents were able to purchase narcotics, specifically cocaine, directly from an officer of the corporation on three separate occasions. The premises was also found to be in violation of their license conditions.

ABC encourages licensees to sign up for ABC’s Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs (LEAD) training free of charge. Licensees and their employees can now take the training online at our Online LEAD page. They can also sign up for training in person in a classroom setting.
