Report Drunk Drivers — Call 911
The California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) is proud to support California’s 2008 holiday DUI prevention campaign. This December, ABC will join the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), California Highway Patrol (CHP), and the Department of Transportation (Caltrans) to decrease the number of people killed and injured in California as a result of alcohol-related crashes.
A primary focus of the campaign is to promote the use of the 911 emergency phone number and encourage motorists to take a proactive role in reporting suspected drunk drivers to keep California roadways safe.
We believe that empowering Californians to report suspected drunk drivers will help law enforcement to effectively remove dangerous motorists from the roads.
