In 2003 he was promoted to Supervising Agent in the San Jose District Office responsible for day to day operations in both Santa Clara and San Benito counties.  In 2006, he was promoted to Supervising Agent in Charge of the Oakland District office and helped open the Department’s first stand-alone enforcement office (Concord) until taking over the reins in the San Francisco District Office in 2009.  During this time Gebb helped establish and mentor the first Staff Services Manager I position in the Oakland District Office.  This was the first step in bifurcation of the licensing function.  Gebb has served as Supervising Agent in Charge in the Bay Area offices for the last 13 years, during this time he has become experienced with some of the more complex licensing and enforcement issues.  As a result of his time in the Bay Area, Gebb provided training to all Department Licensing Representatives regarding protest investigations. 

Gebb graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration with an option in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
