License Query System (LQS)

Here are some hints on how to query information in the License Query System:

    For Addresses:
    Abbreviations
      'Avenue' is 'AVE'
      'Boulevard' is 'BLVD'
      'Court' is 'CT'
      'East' is 'E'
      'Highway' is 'HWY'
      'North' is 'N'
      'Road' is 'RD'
      'Route' is 'RTE'
      'South' is 'S'
      'Street' is 'ST'
      'West' is 'W'

If the street name is a number and is less than ten, we spell it out.
Example: 123 FIRST ST (instead of 123 1st Street)
7301 NINTH ST (instead of 7301 9th Street)

    For Companies:
'THE' goes at the end of a Corporation/Trust.
      Example: ACME CORPORATION THE
      CALIPSO FOUNDATION THE

For Persons: no hyphenation or special characters are needed.
Example: 'JANE DOE-JONES', becomes 'JANE DOEJONES'
      'JOHN BROWN-JACKSON', becomes 'JOHN BROWNJACKSON'

Note: When in doubt, leave a space.
Example: I know the address is in the 100 block of Broadway.
If I entered '1 BROADWAY' (substituting a space for the part of the address I don't know)
    it would find '123 BROADWAY'.
