Deputy Division Chief (Northern Division) - Timothy Gorsuch
Timothy Gorsuch was recently promoted to the position of Deputy Division Chief, Northern Division. Tim was graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
He was hired by ABC in September 1993 as an Investigator Trainee in the San Jose District Office. He transferred to the Northern Division Special Operations Unit in March 1995. While a member of SOU, he was temporarily assigned to the California Department of Justice’s Siskiyou County-Wide Interagency Narcotics Task Force for just under a year in Northern California. As an investigator II, he was transferred to the Training Office in Headquarters in October 1997 and worked there until he was promoted to Supervising Investigator in the Stockton District Office in February 2000. In May of 2001, Gorsuch was promoted to District Administrator in the Sacramento District Office. He was transferred to the District Administrator of the Northern Division Special Operations Unit in May 2004. He served in that management position until his recent promotion to Deputy Division Chief of Northern Division on January 1, 2006.
Gorsuch is a native Californian who lives in Sacramento County with his wife. Prior to his 12 year career at ABC, he was a Construction Manager for the Department of Defense. He retired in 2004 (at the rank of Major) from the California Army National Guard after 22 years of service.
