Legislative Officer - Chris Albrecht

Chris Albrecht is the Legislative Officer assigned to ABC Headquarters. He serves as an advisor and representative for the Department and has several responsibilities, including preparing bill analysis for the Administration, developing new legislation for the Department, conducting studies for Assembly and Senate committees, and testifying before the Legislature.

Chris has been with the Department for 13 years. He began his career as an investigator in the Fresno District Office and has since served in several District Offices and specialized units. He most recently served as the District Administrator for the Ventura/San Luis Obispo District Offices. Chris graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. He resides in Sacramento.
